Contraindications

Warnings and Precautions
• Central nervous system (CNS) toxicity: plasma concentrations above 20 mcg/mL are associated with a higher incidence of toxicity.
• Adrenal insufficiency: steroid replacement therapy as clinically indicated. Measure free cortisol and corticotropin (ACTH) levels to achieve optimal steroid replacement therapy.
• Embryo-fetal toxicity: May cause harm to the fetus. Women of childbearing potential are advised to be aware of the potential risks to the fetus and to use effective contraception.
• Large ovarian cysts in premenopausal women: Women are advised to seek medical advice if they develop gynecological symptoms such as vaginal bleeding and/or pelvic pain.
