Contraindications

Warnings and Precautions
• Bleeding: Avoid use in patients with active bleeding and discontinue use of LuciPac until any planned surgical procedure. Depending on the severity, dose interruption, dose reduction, or permanent discontinuation may be required.
• Diarrhea: Severe diarrhea is treated with antidiarrheals, dose reductions or interruptions.
• Thrombocytopenia: treatment by dose reduction or discontinuation.
• Prolonged QT interval: Avoid use in patients with a baseline QTc > 480 ms. For patients with QTcF > 500 ms, interrupt and reduce LuciPac dose. Correct hypokalemia before and during administration of LuciPac.
• Major Adverse Cardiac Events (mace): Current/past smokers and patients with other cardiovascular risk factors may be at increased risk. Signs are monitored for timely assessment and treatment.
• Thrombosis: can occur including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and arterial thrombosis. Signs are monitored for timely assessment and treatment.
• Secondary malignancies: Lymphomas and other malignancies may occur. Past/present smokers may be at increased risk.
• Risk of infection: Delay the start of LuciPac until the active severe infection is resolved. Observe the signs and symptoms of infection and deal with them in a timely manner.

Medication risks

Adverse Reactions
The most common (≥ 20% of patients) adverse reactions are diarrhea, thrombocytopenia, nausea, anemia, and peripheral edema.
