Contraindications

Warnings and Precautions
• Eye disorders: LuciErda can lead to central serous retinopathy/retinal pigment epithelial detachment (CSR/RPED). Eye examinations are performed monthly during the first four months of treatment and every 3 months thereafter, and visual symptoms are checked at any time. When CSR/RPED occurs, LuciErda should be discontinued and permanently discontinued if there is no response within 4 weeks or if the severity is grade 4.
• Hyperphosphatemia: Elevated phosphate levels are pharmacodynamic effects of LuciErda. Hyperphosphatemia is monitored and, if necessary, managed by dose adjustment.
• Embryo-fetal toxicity: can cause fetal harm. Inform the patient of the potential risks to the fetus and use effective contraception.
