• Eye toxicity: LuciFutib can cause retinal pigment epithelial shedding (RPED). Complete eye examinations, including optical coherence tomography (OCT), are performed urgently before starting treatment, every 2 months for the first 6 months, every 3 months thereafter, and whenever visual symptoms occur.
• Hyperphosphatemia and soft tissue mineralization: Elevated phosphate levels can lead to hyperphosphatemia, resulting in soft tissue calcification, calcareous deposition, non-uremic calcification defense, and vascular calcification. Hyperphosphatemia is monitored and interrupted, dose reduced, or permanently discontinued depending on the duration and severity of hyperphosphatemia.
• Embryo-fetal toxicity: can cause fetal harm. Inform fertile patients of the potential risks to the fetus and use effective contraception. - Medication risks
- Adverse Reactions
• The most common (≥ 20%) adverse reactions are nail toxicity, musculoskeletal pain, constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, dry mouth, hair loss, stomatitis, abdominal pain, dry skin, arthralgia, impaired taste, dry eyes, nausea, decreased appetite, urinary tract infections, palm-foot erythema paresthesia syndrome, and vomiting.
• The most common laboratory abnormalities (≥ 20%) are phosphate increased, creatinine increased, hemoglobin decreased, glucose increased, calcium increased, sodium decreased, phosphate decreased, alanine aminotransferase increased, alkaline phosphatase increased, lymphocyte decreased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, thrombocytopenia, activated partial thromboplastin time increased, leukopenia, albumin decreased, neutropenia, creatine kinase increased, bilirubin increased, Decreased glucose, increased international standardized ratio of prothrombin, and decreased potassium.
