Contraindications

【Precautions】

During treatment with thalidomide analogs in combination with dexamethasone, concomitant treatment with pembrolizumab will increase mortality in patients with multiple myeloma.
Hematologic toxicity: Neutropenia is the most common grade 3/4 adverse event. Monitor the patient for hematologic toxicity, especially neutropenia.
Hepatotoxicity: Hepatic failure, including death; monthly monitoring of liver function.
Severe skin reaction: Severe reaction Discontinue use of pomalidomide.
Tumor Lysis Syndrome (TLS): Monitor patients at risk for TLS (i.e., patients with high tumor burden) and take appropriate precautions.
Hypersensitivity: Monitor the patient for potential hypersensitivity reactions. Discontinue pomalidomide due to angioedema and anaphylaxis.
