Contraindications

• Neurotoxicity: Inform patients and guardians of the risk of adverse neurological reactions. In case of neurotoxicity, patients are advised not to drive or operate hazardous machinery. Suspend and adjust the dose, or permanently discontinue LuciLaro, depending on the severity.
• Hepatotoxicity: Hepatic function tests, including ALT and AST, are performed every 2 weeks during the first month of treatment, followed by monthly monitoring and as clinically indicated. Suspend and adjust the dose, or permanently discontinue LuciLaro, depending on the severity.
• Embryo-fetal toxicity: May cause harm to the fetus. Women of childbearing potential are advised to be aware of the potential risks to the fetus and to use effective contraception.

Medication risks

The most common adverse effects (≥ 20%) of LuciLaro are fatigue, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, elevated AST, cough, elevated Alt, constipation, and diarrhea.
