Contraindications

Warnings and Precautions
Gastrointestinal adverse reactions: LuciCer can cause GI adverse events. If severe or unbearable and unresponsive to antiemetics or antidiarrheals, discontinue use; after improvement, resume LuciCer with a reduced dose.
Hepatotoxicity: LuciCer can cause hepatotoxicity. Monitor liver laboratory indicators at least monthly. In case of severe hepatotoxicity, discontinue use, or reduce dose, or permanently discontinue LuciCer.
Interstitial lung disease/pneumonia: occurred in 2.4% of patients. Patients diagnosed with associated interstitial lung disease (ILD)/pneumonia should permanently discontinue LuciCer.
Prolonged QT interval: LuciCer can lead to prolonged QTc interval. Monitor electrocardiograms and electrolytes in patients with congestive heart failure, chronic arrhythmias, electrolyte abnormalities, or in patients taking medications known to prolong the QTc interval. Pause, reduce, or permanently discontinue LuciCer.
Hyperglycemia: LuciCer can cause hyperglycemia. Fasting blood glucose is regularly monitored before and after treatment. Activate or optimize antihyperglycemic medications as directed. Suspend, reduce, or permanently discontinue LuciCer as appropriate.
Bradycardia: LuciCer can cause bradycardia. Monitor heart rate and blood pressure regularly. Suspend, reduce, or permanently discontinue LuciCer as appropriate.
Pancreatitis: Elevated lipase and/or amylase and pancreatitis may occur. Lipase and amylase enzymes are monitored before treatment and regularly after treatment as clinically necessary. Decide to discontinue use or reduce the dose of LuciCer.
Embryo-Fetal Toxicity: LuciCer can cause harm to the fetus. Women of childbearing potential are advised to be aware of potential risks to the fetus and to use effective contraception.

Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse reactions (incidence ≥ 25%) in patients taking 450 mg LuciCer with food were diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, and fatigue; taking 750 mg LuciCer under fasted conditions caused diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, and weight loss.
