Contraindications

Warnings and Precautions
• Abnormal liver function tests: Baseline liver function tests are performed and monitored during treatment. In case of abnormalities, a dose reduction or treatment interruption may be required. For persistent or recurrent liver function abnormalities, consider discontinuing treatment.
• Diarrhea: treatment of dehydration. Persistent diarrhea may require interruption or discontinuation of treatment.
• Fat-soluble Vitamins (FSV) deficiency: performed at baseline and monitored during treatment. If deficiencies are found, supplement them. If FSV deficiency persists or worsens after FSV supplementation, discontinue treatment.

Adverse Reactions
PFIC: The most common adverse reactions (> 2%) were abnormal liver function tests, diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, and fat-soluble Vitamins deficiency.
ALGS: The most common adverse reactions (> 5%) are diarrhea, abdominal pain, hematoma, and weight loss.
