Contraindications

Warnings and Precautions
• Prolonged QT interval, torsional ventricular tachycardia and sudden death: monitor ECG and serum potassium, calcium, magnesium and TSH levels. Reduce LuciVande dose appropriately.
• Severe skin reactions, including toxic epidermal necrolysis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome, some of which are fatal. Discontinue LuciVande in case of severe skin reaction.
• Interstitial lung disease (ILD), including death: Investigate unexplained nonspecific respiratory signs and symptoms. For confirmed ILD, stop LuciVande.
• Ischemic cerebrovascular events, bleeding, heart failure, diarrhea, Blood Pressure, and reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome: discontinuation or interruption of LuciVande.
• Impaired wound healing: pause for at least 1 month prior to elective surgery. Do not take LuciVande for at least 2 weeks after major surgery until the wound has fully healed. The safety of resuming LuciVande treatment after resolution of wound healing complications has not been determined.
• Embryo-fetal toxicity: May cause harm to the fetus. Women of childbearing potential are advised to be aware of the potential risks to the fetus and to use effective contraception during LuciVande treatment and for 4 months after the last dose.

Medication risks

Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse drug reactions (> 20%) in LuciVande were diarrhea/colitis, rash, acne-like dermatitis, Blood Pressure, nausea, headache, upper respiratory tract infection, decreased appetite, and abdominal pain, with ≥ 5% difference between groups.
