Immune reconstitution syndrome: Further evaluation and treatment may be required.
Residual concentrations of enalapavir may remain in the systemic circulation for up to 12 months or longer. Inform the patient of the dosing regimen; failure to follow Medical Advice may result in loss of virologic response and drug resistance.
Starting with drugs primarily metabolized by CYP3A within 9 months of the last subcutaneous injection of LuciLenacap may increase exposure and risk of adverse reactions.
If discontinued, other fully inhibited antiretroviral regimens should be started within 28 weeks of the last injection of LuciLenacap, if possible. If virologic failure occurs, switch to a different regimen whenever possible.
Injection site reactions may occur and nodules and stiffness may persist.
