Contraindications

【Precautions】
Cardiovascular risk: May cause orthostatic hypotension or tachycardia.
Metabolic effects: Blood glucose, lipids and body weight need to be monitored.
Elderly patients: Elderly patients used for dementia-related psychosis may have an increased risk of death.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Pregnancy is only used when the benefits outweigh the risks (which can lead to extrapyramidal symptoms in newborns).

Not recommended for lactation.

Headache, indigestion, muscle soreness, restlessness, drowsiness or abnormal sleepiness, stomach upset, weight gain.
Less common:
Blood or urine cloudiness, blurred vision, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, fear or nervousness, frequent urination, increased appetite, increased sweating, joint pain, muscle spasms or soreness, tremors in the limbs, joint swelling, insomnia.
Uncommon 33%
Chills, cold sweats, confusion, dizziness or fainting when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
