Contraindications

In case of clinically significant hypersensitivity reaction, appropriate treatment should be administered and this product should be discontinued.
This product may increase the risk of infection and should be avoided in patients with active or severe infections.
This product is not recommended for patients with active hepatitis B or C.
Patients should be evaluated for latent and active TB infection prior to initiation of treatment with this product. During treatment, patients treated with this product should be monitored for signs and symptoms of active TB.
This product is discontinued if the level of creatine phosphokinase (CPK) is significantly increased during treatment, or if it is diagnosed or suspected to have myopathy.
Prior to starting treatment with this product, all age-appropriate immunizations should be completed in accordance with current immunization guidelines.
Includes herpes zoster prophylaxis. Patients treated with this product should avoid getting a live vaccine.

This product has not been approved for rheumatoid arthritis RA.
Pregnant women and children should use with caution.
